    Owner, Veterinarian

I was born and raised in Tucson, Arizona. I grew up a city kid who longed to live in the country. Like many little girls I loved horses, and desperately wanted one of my own. Since a horse would not fit in our backyard, I spent many years taking riding lessons and going to summer camps with equine activities so I could be around horses. I also participated in sports, like softball and track . As a kid I was always trying to rescue hurt or abandoned baby birds or cotton tail rabbits we would find in the desert. In school I liked science classes so it just seemed natural to put my love of animals and science together to pursue veterinary medicine. I earned a B.S. in Veterinary Science from the University of Arizona. In 1997 I moved to Oklahoma to establish residency. OSU seemed like a logical choice since I had family in Stillwater, and it didn't get too cold in the winter, or so I thought! I got a job as a technician at the Perkins Veterinary Clinic where I really got to see high quality medicine. It was also while working as a tech that I developed a love for working with cattle. In 2003 I earned my D.V.M. from Oklahoma State University. When Dr. Woodall offered me a job, I jumped at the chance to come back to the clinic. My interests in veterinary medicine are large and small animal preventative medicine and internal medicine. My husband, Mike, begrudgingly left Arizona to help me pursue my goals now loves Oklahoma as much as I do. We bought some land, and now have a small herd of cows, two horses, four dogs and four cats and a few chickens. In 2011 we bought the clinic from Dr. Jerry Woodall upon his retirement and continue to practice high quality medicine. We are always searching out new techniques to better the lives of animals. When not working, I enjoy spending time outdoors and riding horses.

    Associate Veterinarian

I was Born in Hammond, IN. My undergraduate education was at Arkansas Tech University; I earned a B.S. in Biology with a Pre-Medical/Veterinary emphasis.  In 2004, I moved to Stillwater and began working at Perkins Veterinary Clinic as a veterinary technician. I fell in love with the area and the people so decided this was to be my forever home. In 2008 I took a small detour and moved to Saint Christopher (St.Kitts) where I attended Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine.  In 2011, I returned home to Stillwater and I finished the clinical aspects of my education at Boren Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital here at OSU. I graduated from Ross University in January 2012; upon graduating Dr. Murray offered me a job here at Perkins Veterinary Clinic. I was very happy to accept this position because I already knew that they practiced high quality medicine, and offered only the highest standards of care. I am very proud of serving the area and working with our wonderful clientele. My professional interests are primarily orthopedic and soft tissue surgery, but I also enjoy Cardiology, Oncologic Surgery, and Exotic medicine. I am always looking for new procedures and ways that I can help animals through my love of surgery. I am married, my wife's name is Briley. We have two wonderful children together, Cheyanne and Taud Jr. Our 4 legged children Roo, Kasper, Tonks, Pandora, Evander,  and QT Pie, 2 ball pythons, A bearded dragon, 2 cows, and a freshwater cichlid tank.
